First let us preface this by saying the last time we sold and bought a house was over 30 years ago. We had no idea what we were doing, or how to go about doing anything related to selling a house. Carol was there over the long haul. We started with her several months in advance of our sale. We needed her guidance in preparing the house for it best value when we did put it on the market. At the time of the sale Carol was not felling her best. Despite her running a fever, she got our house listed on the market, arranged for coverage for two open houses, and evaluated and simplified the multiple offers we received. She was up past midnight the day of the second open house simplifying and forwarding the offers we received over the two days. The next morning we spoke, over the phone, and she pointed out the pros and cons of each offer, helping us select the best option for us. All the way through the closing she guided us step by step, and followed up with us after the sale was complete to be sure we were comfortable with the process, and our choice. Anna & Robert May

Recently I had a conversation with a friend, and they stated, “what do realtors do anyway”? My response was “you haven’t worked with the right one”. Carol Guist is a living example of why realtors are needed on both the buying and selling side of a transaction. Her warmth, professionalism, kindness, and passion are unparalleled, and are all perfect examples of why realtors are still needed in our tech crazy 2018 world. In early 2016, Carol assisted us in our relocation from the Detroit area to the Chicago suburbs. Prior to our Chicago trips to house hunt, she invested hours on the phone getting to know my family. Though her knowledge of the marketplace, and knowledge of my family, she was able to identify the best community for us to settle in. When we got to the hotel, she had a gift basket waiting for us, with a teddy bear for my son. She identified the perfect community for us and let us come to our own conclusion on the house we picked, only weighing in when necessary.
